Practice areas and the Friday digest

Set your practice areas so the app, the Friday digest, and new-law alerts are about your work.

Set your practice areas

In the app, open For your practice in the left sidebar and tick the areas you practice in. This does three things:

• the For your practice view shows only decisions in those areas;
• the Legislation & rules tab can filter to bills and rules that touch your areas;
• New-law alerts email you before a law or rule in your areas takes effect (about 30 days ahead, a week ahead, and on the day). Turn these off under My account.

The Friday digest

Every Friday afternoon your firm's digest lists the week's significant Florida appellate and federal decisions, grouped by practice area, plus a short "Legislation & rules watch". Links open the full analysis in the app. Your firm admin controls who receives it (the Distribution List in the firm portal) — it's separate from who can sign in.

Saving and organizing

Click ☆ on any decision to save it; file saved cases into folders; add private notes (only you can see them); tag and search by issue. The 20-second tour on first sign-in points at each of these.
