Thinking Systems Corp. v. Wang
After a partial summary judgment found that a claimant was an owner/equitable shareholder of a corporation, the trial court granted his motion to compel production of corporate documents 'required under FS 607.' The Second District granted certiorari and quashed the order, holding the documents sought were not the records available to all shareholders as a matter of course under section 607.1602(1) and that, because they amounted to an accounting, the claimant had to first establish a right to an accounting and comply with section 607.1602(3).
