Novick v. Mango's Tropical Caf text, LLC
Novick sought certiorari to quash a non-final order denying his motion to dismiss a business disparagement counterclaim under Florida's Anti-SLAPP statute, section 768.295. Following its recent decision in Vericker v. Powell, the Third DCA dismissed the petition for lack of certiorari jurisdiction and certified conflict with the Second DCA's decisions in Davis v. Mishiyev, Baird v. Mason Classical Academy, and Gundel v. AV Homes.
