In re: Amendments to Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.530 and 1.535

On the Civil Procedure Rules Committee's unopposed report, the Florida Supreme Court amended Rule 1.530 to change the trigger for the 15-day deadlines in subdivisions (d) and (g) from 'entry of the judgment' to 'the date of filing of the judgment,' and relocated the entirety of Rule 1.535 (remittitur and additur) into new Rule 1.530(h), deleting Rule 1.535. The rule title was also amended to add 'Remittitur or Additur.' The amendments took effect October 1, 2022.
