In Re: Amendments to Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.350 and 1.370

The Florida Supreme Court amended Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.350 and 1.370, effective April 1, 2026, to require that production requests, responses to production requests, requests for admissions, and responses to requests for admissions each be served on all parties in a case — not solely on the requesting or responding party. These changes close a gap in multiparty litigation where discovery pleadings were routed only to the propounding party.
