In re: Amendments to Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.080 and 1.310
The Florida Supreme Court adopted the Civil Procedure Rules Committee's proposed amendments to Rules 1.080 and 1.310, effective October 1, 2024. New rule 1.080(d) and rule 1.310(f)(3)(C) require transcripts filed with the court to be in full-page, text-searchable PDF format unless the court authorizes condensed transcripts, and rule 1.310(b)(6) was expanded to allow naming 'other entit[ies]' (e.g., LLCs) as organizational deponents, tracking Fed. R. Civ. P. 30(b)(6).
