In re: Amendments to Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.205

On its own motion, the Florida Supreme Court amended Rule of Judicial Administration 2.205(a)(2)(B) to add a new subdivision (v) expressly recognizing the Chief Justice's authority, on request of a chief judge or sua sponte, to enter orders responding to a public health emergency. The amendment took effect immediately upon release, with a 75-day comment period.
