Eco Green International, LLC, et al. v. Acapital, S.R.O., et al.
The Third District affirmed an order compelling arbitration of Florida RICO and tort claims brought by a Florida trading company against individual non-signatory corporate principals who managed and executed the underlying international wine-must supply agreements. The court applied the equitable estoppel exception to allow non-signatories to compel arbitration where the claims alleged against them were intertwined with and inherently inseparable from the signed agreement.
